About the downpipes
AWE offers Resonated and Non-Resonated Downpipes.
- The Resonated Downpipes feature resonators larger than the stock units in order to produce a more mellow sound volume.
- These Non-Resonated Downpipes are suited for owners seeking the loudest AWE has to offer for the S4 or S5.
Both the Resonated and Non-Resonated Downpipes feature larger than stock tubing diameter.
Downpipe installation tip
Installing downpipes on these cars is difficult given the placement of the factory bolts.
AWE had so much trouble that they made an AWE Tuning-grade tool to make it easier.
If you’re planning an install, a downpipe removal tool is a must have.
